Puzzle Timer (Quick Thinking!)
Each puzzle has a timer (usually 20 seconds). Solving a puzzle awards you 20 base coins. You also get 5 bonus coins for every second remaining on this timer. So, speed matters! If the timer runs out, you'll lose a small number of coins and a new puzzle will start.
Session Timer (The Main Countdown)
Your entire game session lasts for 10 minutes. This timer keeps running even between puzzles but will pause if you use the manual Pause function. When this timer hits zero, your game session ends, and you'll see your final score.
Need a break? You can pause the game! The Pause button is located in the game controls. However, it's a special feature: you need to solve 10 puzzles first to unlock it. Once paused, both the puzzle timer and the main session timer will stop. Game controls will be disabled. Click the Resume button (either in the controls or on the pause screen overlay) to continue playing.
Think you've got a high score? When your 10-minute game session ends, you'll be prompted to enter your name. Your score (total coins ) and the number of puzzles you solved will be submitted. You can view the top players on the Leaderboard page, accessible from the main start screen or after submitting your score.
